Account Manager / Fully Remote

We are a medical marketing company that is in an exciting transition right now, and we are looking for someone to manage the sudden increase of clients that we are about to get.

For the last four years we have been generating business via referrals and industry contacts, but we have such a solid team and process that it’s time to kick it into high gear by adding a sales person and an account manager to the team.  This listing is for the role of account manager.

Our main services are:

  • Building websites
  • Advanced SEO strategy
  • SEO optimized content 
  • And to a lesser degree, Google ads.

Our clients are medical practices in the USA with our main contacts being either an owner/practitioner, office admin or in-house marketing team that outsources websites and content to us.

We have case studies that show some of the amazing results we’ve brought our clients and we are excited to get a real solid sales process to keep our new account manager (hopefully you) busy. 

We believe in ongoing education and training and we have an international team of happy workers that have been with us long term.  

We don’t believe in working people to death or setting impossible deadlines.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an account manager that will be the clients advocate.  You will represent the interests of the client and make sure that the rest of the team are completing what needs to be done to reach deadlines for your client.  

Our clients are very precious to us, and we want them to feel like they are our only client. At the same time, most of our clients don’t require much of us, as long as we are performing the contracted tasks.

Until now, Cynthia, our founder has been the only account manager, and while she will keep her current clients, we need someone that can take on the future clients that we will get.

Since you would be our first dedicated account manager, then we will rely on you to setup your own systems and processes to efficiently onboard, maintain and share monthly performance reports to the client.  

You will work closely with the website manager, content manager and operations manager to make sure that deliverables are done on time. 

The account manager does not need to manage any people within the company, but they will make sure that no tasks from their clients fall through the cracks.

We are looking for someone with account management experience, preferably in a tech/marketing b2b environment.  Since our services are technical, then it’s essential that you are extremely comfortable with computers and tech in general.  Experience in marketing is also important.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a client facing role (preferably as an account manager) in a marketing or creative agency or in a SaaS company.
  • Must have proven experience in building professional relationships
  • Fantastic communication skills: through text, voice and video.
  • Have a good eye for detail and good sense of what looks “professional”
  • English at or near a native level and a firm grasp of North American or UK business culture
  • Able to work at least 5 hours, 4 days a week between 8-6pm EST, Monday-Friday (Minimum 30 hours per week total)

Bonus points with:

Experience in medical field, marketing or SEO

Experience in content writing, social media or video production

Pay:

Hours can be negotiated, but at least 30 hours per week. Base pay for 40 hours per week would be $3,000 per month and can reach quite a bit more per month when easy sales and retention goals are hit.
